Judge rejects Narragansett burial suit

TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 19, 2002 The Narragansett Tribe of Rhode Island plans to appeal a federal judge's decision that allows a dig to move forward without tribal involvement. U.S. District Judge Ronald R. Lagueux said the tribe's protests were unfounded. He vacated his earlier ruling that allowed the tribe to monitor the dig. Get the Story:
