Okla. tribe seeks land claim intervention

The Seneca-Cayuga Tribe of Oklahoma is seeking intevenor status in the Seneca land claim.

The Seneca Nation of New York is the plaintiff in the case for about 50 acres of land. An attorney for the tribe said the Oklahoma Senecas shouldn't be involved.

The Oklahoma tribe recently purchased land near one of the Seneca reservations.
