Brothers enter plea in shooting case

Two brothers in Utah have pleaded guilty to misdemeanor assault for allegedly trying to shoot Ibapah Goshute Chairman Milton Hooper.

Robert and Clel Pete were unhappy with Hooper's leadership. In October 2000, they allegedly went to tribal headquarters where Clel Pete held a rifle to Hooper's chest and pulled the trigger, but the gun jammed.

The brothers will were sentenced to 12 months of supervised release.
