Conn. tribes look to convention business

FRIDAY, DECEMBER 13, 2002 Connecticut tribes are hoping to draw more conventions to their casino facilities. The Mohegan Tribe, whose new hotel and convention center was opened earlier this year as part of a $1 billion expansion, is trying to impress a convention booking company. Casino executives hope HelmsBRiscoe can bring in new business. The Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation is also looking to work with HelmsBRiscoe. Get the Story:
