Colo. tribe swears in new leaders

WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 18, 2002

The Southern Ute Tribe of Colorado swore in a new chairman on Tuesday.

Howard Richards Sr. is the new chairman. He replaces Leonard Burch, who resigned after more than 30 years of service.

Vida B. Peabody was also sworn in to another term on the tribal council.
