Oneida Nation casino profit put at $70M

The Oneida Nation of New York turned a profit of nearly $70 million in the past year, according to a financial document obtained by The Syracuse Post-Standard.

The tribe sent a prospectus to potential investors to attract money for a $300 million expansion of its casino resort. The document cited total revenues of $232 million, $180 million of which came from the casino.

The tribe sold $135 million in bonds to pay for part of the expansion.
