No graves found at R.I. work site

MONDAY, DECEMBER 23, 2002 Construction workers in Rhode Island say they haven't uncovered any grave sites or artifacts in an area the Narragansett Tribe has been seeking to protect. The tribe went to court to put a stop to the $6.2-million sewer project. A federal judge declined the stop the work and the decision is on appeal but The Providence Journal reports that the work is almost complete. Get the Story:
