Lawmakers in Connecticut voted to repeal a law that paved the way for Indian gaming.

The House and Senate both passed the repeal yesterday in hopes of stopping more casinos. But some tribal leaders and legal experts doubt the effort will work.

The state is home to two tribal casinos. The Eastern Pequot Tribe, which has been recognized, plans to open a third.
