WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 8, 2003 The Navajo Nation will inaugurate a new president and vice-president on January 14. The all-day event takes place in Window Rock, Arizona, the capital of the Navajo Nation. It is expected to draw as many as 10,000 people, The Farmington Daily-Times reported. The new president is Joe Shirley Jr. His vice-president is Frank Dayish Jr. The 88 Navajo council delegates will also be sworn in. Get the Story:
