Editorial: Bush should settle trust suit

President Bush needs to settle the Indian trust fund lawsuit, The Berkshire Eagle of Massachusetts says in an editorial.

But instead of trying to resolve the mess, the paper says the government has "dug in its heels" and is fighting the Indian beneficiaries, who have never had an accounting of their funds. The paper says Department of Interior officials are arguing "preposterously" that no fraud has ever occurred.
