State fights suit over success of Indian gaming

TUESDAY, JANUARY 14, 2003 A failed dog track is suing the state of Wisconsin to get rid of Indian casinos. The dog track, which fell under hard times with the advent of tribal gaming, says the state's constitution prohibits gambling. Attorneys responded yesterday with a court filing that said casinos were here to stay. Get the Story:
