Mescalero president tries to remove foes

The president of the Mescalero Apache Nation of New Mexico is seeking to remove two political opponents from the tribal council.

Sara Misquez was impeached by the council in a 4-3 last week. Although the vote was vetoed by the tribe's vice president, Misquez wants two of those who voted against her removed.
