Florida Governor Jeb Bush (R) and other state officials plan to move forward with plans to condemn 800 acres of land owned by the Miccosukee Tribe, The Miami Herald reports.

The state Department of Environmental Protection will hold a hearing tomorrow to address the issue. The state and federal government say the tribe and two homeowners are holding up the $8 billion Everglades restoration project.

Separately, state water managers are moving to condemn 375 acres of land owned by the tribe, also under the guises of restoration.
