Ex-BIA worker pleads guilty in fraud case

TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 11, 2003 A former Bureau of Indian Affairs employee in Montana pleaded guilty to six counts of bribery, mail fraud and making false statements. Charles Christopher Dillon, who worked on the Crow Reservation, admitted to taking about $21,000 in kickbacks for funneling BIA money to companies in North Dakota and Montana. To be sentenced May 6, he faces prison time, fines and restitution. Get the Story:
