Canada shutting down Native health program

TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 11, 2003 The Canadian government is shutting down a health program that was operated by First Nations in British Columbia. Health Canada said it won't pay the First Nations Chiefs' Health Committee $500,000 to operate the program. The money will be directed elsewhere. Get the Story:
