Mohegan tribal member sues tribe over hiring

WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 12, 2003 A member of the Mohegan Tribe of Connecticut is suing the tribe in federal and tribal court for allegedly ignoring its Indian preference policy. Mike Bozsum owns a tile and carpet business and applied for jobs as part of the tribe's recently completed $1.1 billion casino expansion. He claims he was wrongly passed over. Get the Story:
