THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 13, 2003

An Arizona Congressman introduced a bill to grant American citizenship to all members of the Tohono O'odham Nation.

The tribe has 8,000 members, spread across Arizona and Mexico. All are supposed to be able to cross the border freely but many lack the proper documentation.

The bill would ensure that the tribe's enrollment list is recognized by the U.S.
