Two proposals to expand gaming in Nebraska are ready for debate in the State Legislature.

One authorizes casino-style Class III gaming on the state's reservations and five in two-mile buffer zones along borders with states that allow similar gambling. The other authorizes gaming statewide but under conditions to be imposed later by the Legislature.

Both are in the form of a constitutional amendment. If approved by the Legislature, they would go on the November ballot.
