The state of South Dakota's voter fraud case against an American Indian woman must move ahead, The Sioux Falls Argus Leader says in an editorial today.

Charges against Rebecca Red Earth-Villeda were temporarily dropped because witnesses on the Crow Creek Reservation couldn't be subpoenaed. But now that the tribe has dropped its objection, the paper says the case has to continue.

Red Earth-Villeda is accused of forging ballot applications for last year's federal election.
