Lakota family wants probe into shooting by police

MONDAY, MARCH 10, 2003 The family of a Lakota man shot to death by a police officer in Rapid City, South Dakota, is calling on the Department of Justice to investigate the incident. Lucas Ghost Bear was killed on Sunday morning after an altercation with a police officer. He reportedly brandished a knife. Get the Story:
