Choctaw Nation business benefits from war plans

TUESDAY, MARCH 11, 2003 A manufacturing plant owned by the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma has experienced a rise in business that is attributed to an impending war on Iraq. Choctaw Manufacturing Development Corp. makes missile parts and equipment for the Navy, Air Force and Army. It has seen orders from the Defense Department rise 50 percent, allowing the tribe to hire 40 more people. Get the Story:
