Alaska Natives make return to sled dog race

FRIDAY, MARCH 14, 2003 After nearly a decade of little or no representation, Alaska Natives have made a return to the ACS Open North American Championship sled dog race. Last year, there were no village racers. This year, three are competing in hopes of capturing a title that historically has been won by Alaska Natives. Get the Story:
