Tribal college in Mich. gains initial status

FRIDAY, MARCH 14, 2003 The Saginaw Chippewa Indian Tribal College on the Saginaw Chippewa Reservation in Michigan has received initial candidacy accreditation status. The college has spent more than two years to reach accreditation. The preliminary ruling from the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association came last month. Get the Story:
