Niagara Falls Mayor Irene Elia and two city officials were recently thrown out of the Seneca Nation's new casino because Elia acted "like she owned the place," The Niagara Falls Reporter said.

The mayor and the officials demanded to meet with Seneca Nation President Cyrus Schindler and a top casino executive, G. Michael "Mickey" Brown, the paper said. Elia reportedly wanted to start talks on a casino-related deal she had killed.

Elia is no longer welcome at the casino, the paper reported.
