White buffalo roams alone on Utah farm

A white buffalo is extremely rare: only 1 in about 200,000 are born white, The Salt Lake Tribune reports.

A two-year-old male on a Utah farm is one of the blessed. In Lakota culture, a white buffalo is considered sacred and represents major change.

But unlike others, the two-year-old hasn't gotten a lot of fame. And he doesn't have a name. "That's probably our fault," said Ruel Thompson, a farm worker at the Young Living Family Farm. "We probably have too many irons in the fire and haven't promoted him like we should."
