WEDNESDAY, APRIL 2, 2003 After ten weeks, testimony in the trial of a Joshua Wade, charged with raping an murdering an Alaska Native woman, ended on Tuesday. Closing arguments start on Thursday and might last until Friday, The Anchorage Daily News reports. The paper recounts some of the major debates of the trial, noting the lack of a weapon, DNA, fingerprints and eyewitness. The prosecution presented witnesses who said Wade admitted killing Della Brown, whose body was found in early September 2000. But the defense questioned the witnesses' credibility -- all have criminal histories and have been serving jail time. The defense also said there is another possible suspect, a man convicted of raping Alaska Native women. Get the Story:
