The U.S. Army Criminal Investigation Division considers its investigation of the death of West Point Sgt. Alan Two Crow to be "closed," The Sioux Falls Argus Leader reports.

CID officials came to the Cheyenne River Sioux Reservation in South Dakota yesterday to give Two Crow's family a briefing on the results of their probe. A 700-page report concludes that Two Crow died of an accidental fall at the military academy.

"Mistakes were made during the early stages of the investigation, but they didn't affect the conclusion." Marc Raimondi, director of public affairs for the CID, said, the paper reported.

The family questioned why the Army failed to find Two Crow's body for more than two months. It took three civilians, including a former military policeman, less than two hours to locate him last September.
