The Bureau of Indian Affairs is consolidating three locations in Wisconsin to a brand new office.

The building, to be built in Ashland, will serve 10 tribes in Wisconsin and provide some services to 26 other tribes in the Midwest.

The current office, also in Ashland, has run out of space, said an official. The growth in employees, from 60 to 100, is attributed to the BIA's Indian Land Consolidation Project.
