Miccosukee Tribe donated more than ever in 2002

The Miccosukee Tribe of Florida donated $325,818 to state political campaigns, according to an analysis by The Miami Herald.

The amount, mostly to GOP interests, was the largest ever for the tribe, the paper said. The tribe has also hired more than a dozen lobbyists.
