A court investigator for the Indian trust fund lawsuit submitted an interim report on Monday regarding the filing of the Department of Interior's 8th quarterly report.

Special master Alan Balaran was asked by U.S. District Judge Royce Lamberth to determine whether the Interior concealed information about the status of a trust fund computer system. Balaran said the quarterly report was changed to avoid admitting that the project was failing and that earlier quarterly reports weren't accurate.
