Cow manure brings tribes farmers together

TUESDAY, APRIL 22, 2003 After years of being on opposite sides of the fence, the Tulalip Tribes and farmers in a Washington county can agree on one thing: cow manure. The tribes and Snohomish County farmers have joined together to preserve cows and salmon. The partners will build a plant that converts cow dung into electricity and an eco-friendly manure that won't harm water for salmon. Get the Story:
