MONDAY, APRIL 28, 2003 A special investigation into the death of Alan Two Crow, a Lakota soldier found dead at West Point Military Academy in New York, turned up irregularities in the search, The Middletown Times Herald-Record reports. The paper obtained a copy of the report through the Freedom of Information Act. Search teams never looked in the area where Two Crow's body was eventually found, it said. Two Crow, a member of the Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe, was missing for 10 weeks. Three civilians eventually located his body on post. Two Crow's family believes foul play was involved.
