Members of the Prairie Island Indian Community will vote a second time on an agreement with a nuclear utility.

Not enough members participated in the first referendum so it was voided, The Minneapolis Star Tribune reported.

Xcel Energy wants to store more nuclear waste at a facility next to the reservation. The tribe is agreeing to the proposal in exchange for compensation -- up to $50 million depending on the life of the nuclear plant.
