The chairman of the Skull Valley Goshute Tribe of Utah says the ongoing scrutiny over the tribe's activities is harmful.

In an interview with KSL News, he disputed allegations that he is not the rightful chairman. He also says he is cooperating with federal investigations into the tribe. According to news accounts, federal agents seized documents and property from the Bear's Salt Lake City office.

The tribe decision to store nuclear waste on its reservation has attracted high-level opposition.
