Conn. casinos excluded from bill to ban smoking

FRIDAY, MAY 2, 2003 Connecticut's two tribal casinos are exempt from a bill making its way through the state Legislature. The bill applies to bars and restaurants elsewhere in the state. It passed the Senate on Wednesday and is up for a vote in the House next wee. The Mohegan Tribe and the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation both offer smoke-free rooms at their casinos. Get the Story:
