A federal court in Australia is hearing a Native title case.

The Yawuru Tribe is asserting title to 6,000 square kilometers of land.

If title is granted, the tribe doesn't gain ownership. Under Australian law, the tribe can assert hunting, fishing, gathering and traditional and ceremonial uses.
