Indian parents say children tormented by Somalis

WEDNESDAY, MAY 14, 2003 American Indian parents are protesting what they say is inaction over racially-tinged bullying at a middle school in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The parents say their children are being tormented by Somali students at Sanford Middle School but nothing is being done about it. School officials say all reports of fights and bullying have been dealt with, including one Somali who was expelled for assaulting Russell Crow Ghost, an Indian student. There are a reported 200 Somalis at the school. Get the Story:
