N.Y. judge won't halt stop new gaming compacts

New York State Supreme Court Justice Joseph Teresi won't stop Governor George Pataki (R) from finalizing new casino deals,

Casino opponents will have a chance to appeal the decision. They claim Pataki is violating the state constitution by approving an expansion of gaming in the state.
