The chairman of the Agua Caliente Band of Cahuilla Indians of California is accusing a hotel and restaurant union of a campaign of disinformation.

The Hotel Employees and Restaurant Employees International Union is trying to organize among casino workers. The union released a survey claiming that the tribe's health care plan was inadequate.

But Chairman Richard M. Milanovich says the union is misrepresenting the health care program and the wages the tribe provides.
