Tohono O'odham Nation to inaugurate new chairwoman

THURSDAY, JUNE 5, 2003 The Tohono O'odham Nation of Arizona will host an inauguration on June 27 for chairwoman Vivian Juan-Saunders. Juan-Saunders is the first woman to lead the tribe. Juan-Saunders, who was sworn in Monday, and running mate Ned Norris Jr. defeated incumbents Edward Manuel and Henry A. Ramon in the May 24 election. Get the Story:
