N.Z. tribe to sign $10.5M treaty settlement

A New Zealand tribe will sign a $10.5 million settlement over the Treaty of Waitangi.

The Tuwharetoa ki Kawerau is the fifth tribe to agree to a settlement. A commission has determined that the federal government failed to abide by the 19th century treaty.
