A new Shiprock Northern Navajo Nation Fair Board was chosen over the weekend but the old board members say they won't recognize the results of the election.

The board handles the highly popular Shiprock Fair. But the old members have come under criticism for alleged mismanagement.

This year's fair is being held October 2-5.
