John Potter: The Indigenous Psychic Hotline
Facebook Twitter Email
MONDAY, JUNE 16, 2003

"Hosted by Harlan McKosato since 1997, "Native America Calling" is heard on more than 60 stations in the U.S. and Canada by more than 37,000 Native listeners each week.

Now, McKosato's program has been known to tackle some pretty tough issues, but on Wednesday - well, we were just having a little psychotic humor with our callers.

Along with myself (playing the part of "Dr. Sirius Looking Bear," a half American Indian and half East Indian psychic), were Native American diva Arigon Starr (as "Vicki Star Woman," a psychic who tells fortunes by reading the sacred bingo cards), and the mysterious "Rhyme-a-Delic Rita" (Mick-ayla Washburn), a Metis tribal member who called in from Toronto, would rhyme out her predictions with mystical diction). We fielded phone calls from all over the continent and either helped or totally confused many people who were struggling with everything from lost loves to lost checkbooks.

I'm sorry you missed the show."
