Charges laid in shooting death on Navajo land

THURSDAY, JUNE 19, 2003 Federal authorities have laid charges against a Navajo man for the shooting death of another tribal member. Harold Begay, 24, alleged shot Leotis A. Yazzie, 24, on Sunday. The Navajo Nation has also charged Begay with aggravated battery in connection with the incident. Get the Story:
