Blackfoot Confederacy meets to discuss issues

FRIDAY, JUNE 20, 2003 The four tribes of the Blackfoot Confederacy met in Alberta, Canada, on Thursday to discuss treaty, legal, border and other issues. The Confederacy is made up of the Blackfeet Nation in Montana and three First Nations in Alberta. They are descendants of the tribes that signed Lame Bull's Treaty of 1855. Get the Story:
