U.S. District Judge Royce Lamberth questioned special trustee Ross Swimmer this week about efforts to reform the broken Indian trust.

Swimmer, a former assistant secretary, took the stand in the trust fund trial on Wednesday. He is the Bush administration's final witness.

Swimmer's testimony is expected to run into early next week. He is currently being cross-examined by Native American Rights Fund attorney Keith Harper.
