Cheyenne-Arapaho council member removed

MONDAY, JULY 7, 2003 Vera Franklin has been removed from the business committee of the Cheyenne-Arapaho Tribes of Oklahoma. According to the Associated Press, seven business committee members voted to remove Franklin, the eighth member. Also removed was Ida Hoffman, an interim business manager. Franklin has been at odds with Cheyenne-Arapaho chairman Robert Tabor and other council members over spending from the tribe's casino. Get the Story:
