Flandreau Santee Sioux president resigns post

MONDAY, JULY 7, 2003 Tom Ranfranz has resigned his post as president of the Flandreau Santee Sioux Tribe of South Dakota, The Sioux Falls Argus Leader reports. Ranfranz cited health problems in stepping down. He was also the target of a removal campaign, which he was challenging. Leonard Eller will act as president for the two remaining years of Ranfranz's term. Get the Story:
