Judge for Cheyenne-Arapaho Tribe disputes removal

THURSDAY, JULY 17, 2003 A former judge for the Cheyenne-Arapaho Tribe of Oklahoma is disputing his removal by the tribal business committee. Judge Phillip Lujan was ousted Monday by Chairman Robert Tabor and his supporters, The Daily Oklahoman reported. He is being replaced by Charles Tripp, who is being asked to resolve a dispute over the disbursement of casino funds that led to the removal of Vera Franklin from the business committee last week.
