Northern Cheyenne housing opposed by neighbors

THURSDAY, JULY 17, 2003 Some members of the Northern Cheyenne Tribe are fighting the tribe's decision to build a house in their neighborhood. The tribe, Chief Dull Knife College and students from two universities worked to build the house, which is made of straw. The tribe's housing authority funded the project with $50,000. But tribal members say they've been asking for a park to be built on the land. They say the site is potentially dangerous. Get the Story:
